Sofia Tart Simon, of Yonkers, passed away on September 26, 2017. She was 85 years old. Born to the late Monsor and Maria Radeff Simon. Loving mother of Diana Johnson, Steve Tart Sr., and the late Michael Tart. Adored grandmother of Maria, Steven Jr., and Christopher Tart. Dear sister of Bill and Louis Simon. Beloved aunt of Susanna, Andrea and Stewart Simon. Sofia was a former waitress at Ernesto’s Restaurant, The South Broadway Diner and The Fountain Diner, where she was adored by all of her customers.
